ikhambi_storyiKhambi Information Systems (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2009 as a computer software distributor dedicated to representing Macintosh software developers and publishers from around the world.

With five years of experience, iKhambi has become one of South Africa’s leading value-added Macintosh software and peripheral distributors, successfully creating and continuing to nurture the Macintosh consumer market both here in South Africa and throughout Southern Africa.

iKhambi began as a software distributor supplying to the Apple Premium Reseller channel and other resellers. We also supply to many other retailers such as iStore, Incredible Connection, Dion Wired, Sportsman’s Warehouse, The Foschini Group and many more. Over recent years, we have seen the market for boxed software change dramatically, with more and more software being downloaded. In contrast, the demand for iOS accessories has rapidly grown. Therefore, we have worked extremely hard to expand our portfolio over the past three years, introducing many new and innovative accessories and app-cessories, which now include some fantastic brands such as Adonit, Wahoo Fitness, JayBird Gear, Optrix and Leathim. It has been a very exciting time for us as we have tailored our business model to keep up with the ever-changing market.  We are extremely proud of the variety of accessories and software we carry.

As a company, our foremost priority is to ensure that we maintain the focus on our brands to provide you with the best opportunities in the South African marketplace. Not only does this include product placement, but also PR and marketing as well as support and partnership at industry events, such as The 94.7 Expo, The Africa Cycle Fair and many more.

Our products are made available throughout South Africa via a network of value-added resellers, online stores, mail order houses and mall-based retailers. If you are a member of the public and wish to buy a product listed on our website, please check the list of resellers. This list can be located under the Home – Where to buy section of our website. Here you will be able to find the reseller or retailer nearest to you in South Africa and neighbouring countries as well.  Online stores’ contact details can also be found here.
